Carly Smith was born into a musical family in Northern California. She grew up performing country and bluegrass music along the West Coast with her father and two sisters. After high school, Carly moved to Hawai‘i to pursue a music career with her cousins Tiffany and Connie Cruz. They joined forces with three female singer songwriters to form the group The Girlas. Releasing their debut album in 2006, The Girlas performed alongside Jack Johnson, Dave Mathews, Eddie Vedder, Justin Nozuka and many more. Carly now performs as a solo artist and recently released her debut album, "Time Passes By".
